A TALE OF TWO CITIES
The two-sided display features images shot at the beginning of the 20th century in Paris, concurrently with footage of Tokyo,Yokohama and Kyoto. After centuries of closure to the West, an authentic commercial and cultural frenzy is underway between Europe and Japan: the great wave of Kanagawa is about to hit a continent greedy for new routes toward modernism.
